These 12 volt to 24 volt fan cooled refrigeration units are suitable for mounting in new or existing ice boxes. The Isotherm Classic Compact Air-Cooled systems offer an effective and economical solution for many refrigeration applications. The fan cooled compressor can be mounted up to two meters away from the evaporator plate (which mounts in your fridge box). Air cooling can be very efficient when they are properly designed and well ventilated. Air-cooled systems are also easy to install and maintain. The box style ‘O’ evaporators provide an internal freezer compartment as well as cooling for the entire refrigeration compartment. Units are supplied pre-gassed re-open able quick fit connectors for ease of installation. Flat evaporators can be carefully formed with no less that a 50mm radius at each bend to suit box size. Features low voltage cut off and radio interference suppression fitted as standard. The temperature is adjusted by a rotary thermostat which incorporates an on/off switch. Connection of the evaporator plate to the compressor requires only a 30mm hole to be drilled in the ice box compartment wall. Utilises R134A ozone friendly refrigeration gas.
